Weekly Wishes
I've been wanting to blog for a long time but never thought I really would be able to do it. I knew I could write, I just didn't think I would have enough to write about or if I could write in a way that would be entertaining enough for people to read it. A few months ago, I just decided to jump in head first. Enough of the "what if's" and "maybe's", it was time to just go for the things I have been wanting to do.
Well, I was totally unprepared for anything and everything blog related. Thinking that blogging is easy is soo far from the truth. However, I do enjoy it. It has been a while since I have blogged and I hate it. I get frustrated when I don't have the time or when I am trying to write and a certain little person won't stop asking questions. It makes something that I'm trying to do for me difficult. So, one of my wishes this week is to get a good schedule down. There are so many ideas floating around in my head and posts half written its crazy. I need to get everything figured out so I can really get this going!!
This week is going to be a busy one for me. Little A is turning 3...I can't believe he is 3 already! Next thing I know he will be starting kindergarten. It's scary and exciting all at the same time. My second wish is to get everything done I want to. I'm the kind of mom who wants her kids birthday parties to be amazing with decorations galore, themes, games...the whole nine yards. Seriously, I'm already starting to plan Little C's birthday and its still 5 months away.
Crossing my fingers that I can get my crazy life figured out and put on a schedule. Maybe it will make everything simpler.

You will feel so much better with a schedule, it makes things so much easier. Gefeliciteerd met de verjaardag van je zoon! (Congratulation's on your son's birthday)
ReplyDeleteYes, having a schedule is definitely helpful. In my planner I use a different colored pen from all my other appointments, playdates, etc. simply for blogging. When I come up with a post, I jot it down quick in my planner with any other notes that I want to add to the post. I dedicate one nap time a week to writing out my posts & having them scheduled for the week. Of course, there are times when it all doesn't go as planned but hey it happens. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone, I started planning my son's 1st birthday in August & his birthday wasn't until March. Now, I feel behind because I have not a single theme or idea picked out for his second birthday. :)
What's your son's theme for his birthday this year? My nephew turns 3 today & we went to his party over the weekend which was superhero themed. So much fun!
