I did a post like this a few months ago when I had just started blogging and have decided I really want to make it a regular occurrence simply because what 2 year old doesn't say the funniest things?!
A few weeks ago Gigi (what we call my mom) bought Little A ABC flashcards. He loves them and loves going through all the letters and pictures. While going through them last week this is the conversation that happened:
Momma: What's this?
Little A: A lady bug. Lady bugs are icky, I don't like lady bugs.
Momma: Lady bugs aren't icky.
Little A: Lady bugs aren't icky? Lady bugs are good for my tummy.
This continued for a few minutes as I tried to explain that not all bugs are icky but that doesn't mean you can eat them. After some banter we came to the conclusion: lady bugs are icky.
Lesson: don't argue with a 2 year old. It doesn't work.

This is adorable! I love hearing the silly things kids say! My daughter is 9 but boy oh boy has she said some doozies! Glad this is going to be a regular feature!
